Terry Yonker

T erry Y onker, son of Don Yonker and Patricia Sivits, was born October 19, 1976, in North Platte.  He passed away at Great Plains Health on March 8, 2025, at age 48.

Terry grew up in Sutherland where he graduated from high school then attended the Vo-Tech program at Mid Plains Community College.  He went on to work in construction and liked to do wood work and build furniture.  He also liked classic cars and putting together model cars.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Don Yonker.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Sivits and sister, Jamie Eichner (Jeff), of North Platte; brothers, Doug Yonker (Jenny) of Gering and Randy Yonker of Bee, NE; aunts, Liz Harbick, Sylvia Hildebrandt, Carolyn Gibson and Sharolyn Holloway; uncles, Gary Weber (Vickie), Gene Weber (Vicki), and Steve Pruitt; many nieces, nephews and other family.

Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 14, at Harvest Christian Fellowship with Pastor Jeremy Rinke officiating.  Burial follows at Plainview Cemetery, south of Maxwell.  Visitation is prior to services at the church.  Online condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com.  Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
