Ted Golden

Duane 'Ted' Golden, age 63, of North Platte, passed away at home surrounded by his family on December 29, 2021.

Ted was born to Orvin and Marlene Golden in Sidney, NE, on June 30, 1958. He grew up in Sidney and North Platte. After graduating from North Platte High School, Ted went to work for Detlefsen Skelly and later for Twin Rivers Diesel Shop. He retired earlier this year due to his health.

On August 10, 1985, Ted married Julie Ann Ruppert in North Platte where they made their home. Ted liked hunting and fishing with his brother, Tim, and son-in-law, Sabastian. He was taken too soon and will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Orvin Golden.

Ted is survived by his wife, Julie, and their children, Tyson Golden and Tia (Sabastian) Brugger, all of North Platte; his mother, Marlene Golden, of Princeston, MN; sister, Teri (Mark) Struthers, of Zimmerman, MN; brother, Tim (Darla) Golden, of North Platte; and other family.
