Sharron Hewgley

S harron H ewgley, age 83, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away surrounded by her family on March 10, 2022, at Great Plains Health.

Sharron was born to William and Edna Moser on October 30, 1938, in North Platte where she grew up and attended school.

Sharron married Donald 'Pete' Hewgley in Dillon, Montana, and they spent the latter part of their marriage in Westminster, Colorado. Sharron was a wonderful stay-at-home mother and later became a bus driver for RTD in Denver, a job that complimented her social nature.

Sharron returned to North Platte in the early '90's to help care for her mother and the family businesses, Master Cleaners and Campus Cleaners.

Sharron was a member of the Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society.  She enjoyed helping organize class reunions and reveled in being around her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Moser; mother and stepfather, Edna and Earl Brown; and half-brother, David Moser.

Survivors include her children, Don Hewgley and Karen Cameron, of North Platte and Deb Dorland, of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Aimee (David) Reese, Joey Cameron, Sarah Dorland, Kayla Fertal, Dustin Hudson, Clifford Hudson and Breezy Pariseau; four great-grandchildren; as well as other family.

In keeping with Sharron's wishes, cremation was chosen and family will celebrate her life with a private celebration. Online condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com. Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
