S haron K leckner was born in North Platte on January 3, 1949.  She passed away at Great Plains Health on January 29, 2025, at age 76.

Sharon, daughter of Everett "Fritz" and Vera Johnson, graduated from N.P.H.S. in 1967.  She attended Mid Plains Community College and later Parks Business School in Denver then worked at First of Denver Bank for five years before returning to North Platte.  She worked for Jim Baldridge, Nebraska State Bank, and later after her children were older, Sharon was a para educator for North Platte Public Schools, working at Lincoln, Cody and Washington Elementary Schools, until retiring in 2019.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Rebecca Kleckner.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Charlie; daughters, Sarah Kleckner of Lincoln and Laurel Condon of North Platte; grandsons, Mitchell, Andrew, Camden and Calvin; her brothers, E. Charles Johnson of North Platte and Larry Johnson (Carol) of Phoenix; and other family.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorials are to the MS Society.  Online condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com.  Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
