Rosetta Kephart, 89, of North Platte, died at Linden Court on Friday, November 29, 2019.
Rosetta was born August 16, 1930, to Herman Louis and Aleta Bonacci at Des Moines, Iowa, where she grew up.
On July 25, 1948, Rosetta married Rollin Kephart at Rockport, Missouri and the couple had two children. They lived in various places including Bartlet and Glenwood, Iowa, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Webb City, Missouri and they resided in Plattsmouth for 30 years. After Rollin died in 2009, Rosetta moved to North Platte a few years later.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her church family showed great kindness and caring for Rosetta, which the family is so thankful for.
She is survived by her children, Sherry (Greg) McGinn, of North Platte and Dr. Willis ‘Bill’ (Kathy) Kephart, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; grandchildren, Frank Kephart and Clark Kephart; and other family.
Along with her husband, Rollin, Rosetta was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Barbara; parents, Herman and Aleta Bonacci; and sister, Loretta Study.
In keeping with Rosetta’s wishes, cremation was chosen and inurnment will be at a later date in Iowa. The memorial book may be signed at odeanchapel.com. Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
