Rose Howard

Rose Howard, age 80, passed away on October 31, 2026, in North Platte, Nebraska.

Rose enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved to read and work on word searches, and she never missed an opportunity to play bingo. Her faith was very important to her. She knew who Jesus was and faithfully attended church every Sunday.

More than anything, Rose loved her family. She always looked forward to talking with her children and grandchildren on the phone. She loved hearing about their lives and would always ask about them. Her family meant so much to her, and she treasured every opportunity to visit with them.

Rose was not alone when she passed. Her daughter, Billie, was by her side and reminded her how much her children and grandchildren loved her. She was also reminded that God loved her and would keep her safe with Him. They would all see her again someday.

Those left to cherish her memory include Betty Callicoat of Lincoln, Nebraska; Brian, Wanda, Kristy, Billie, and William Jr.; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Neil (Kennedy) Musfelt; her daughter, Lori; Faye, Georgia, Margie, Melvin, Eldon, Raymond, John, and Floyd; and three half-brothers, Milo, Edward, and Bill.

Words can never fully express how much Rose was loved or how deeply she will be missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Odean Colonial Chapel in North Platte.
