Ronald Wayne Monroe

Ronald Wayne Monroe, Jr. age 51, of North Platte, NE passed away on July 8, 2025 at his home.

Ron was born on July 19, 1973 in Baltimore, Maryland, but lived much of his life in Crisfield, Maryland where he loved spending time on the water while crabbing and fishing.  He was a member of Harvest Christian Fellowship in North Platte, but had previously been a member and had been baptized at Sonrise Church in Berlin, MD where he met his wife, Brenda.

In addition to his wife, Brenda Paul, Ron is survived by his mother, Evelyn Dorman, daughter, Dasia White, step daughters Shae (Jeff) Caldwell and Sicily (Craig) Hurt, brother Matthew Monroe, grandmother Hilda Grierson, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.  Many cousins, aunts and uncles and lifelong friends are also among those who love and will miss him and that great smile.

He was preceded in death by his son, Alex Marshall, father, Ronald Monroe, step grandson, Tanner Aston-Caldwell, grandparents and many family members and close friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 10 a.m. at Harvest Christian Fellowship in North Platte, NE.
