Rebecca Fisher

R ebecca F isher was born in North Platte, NE, on September 25, 1961, to Judy and Fred Fisher, Jr.  She peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on November 5, 2024, at age 63.

Because of her dad's job as a flight controller, the family lived in various states including Indiana, Kansas and Iowa before returning to Nebraska and settling in Lincoln in 1977.  Rebecca married Bradley Larson on September 11, 1982, in Blue Earth, MN, and welcomed two children, Jesse and Ashley.  After divorcing she continued living at Blue Earth and later married Michael Hansen on May 22, 1993.  After they divorced Rebecca returned to Lincoln with her kids and went to work at Lincoln Plating then for the Federal Government.  Due to illness she was forced to retire.

In her younger days, Rebecca liked to knit and ride her motorcycle.  When she got older she enjoyed cooking and baking, and her specialties were a great fried chicken and tasty cinnamon rolls and cookies.  Rebecca leaves us with many happy memories and the strength to carry on her legacy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred, and brother, Brian Fisher.

Survivors include Rebecca's mother, Judy, and son, Jesse Larson (Melanie Newell) of Lincoln; her daughter, Ashley Inderman (Dustin) of Texas; sister, Deborah Fisher of North Platte; brothers, Vernon (Tracy) of Gibbon, Michael and Wayne (Sheryal) of Lincoln, and Jon of North Platte; her grandkids, Sage, Mason and another on the way; as well as other family.

Celebration of Rebecca's life will be held at a later date in Lincoln.  Online condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com.  Odean Colonial Chapel in North Platte is assisting with arrangements.
