Rese "Pete" Pasley

R ese "Pete" Pasley, of Paxton, NE, passed away June 29, 2025, at age 89.

Pete was born in Irvine, KY, on July 15, 1935, to Bert and Mary Pasley.  He grew up in Kentucky and married Nellie Morton on October 8, 1952.  They moved to North Platte in 1962 where Pete was a Master Craftsman.  He built several homes in the area and worked for H.C. Smith.

Pete loved the outdoors and liked fishing and gardening.  He did hobby farming and had a small dairy.  After retiring he worked for Duck Creek Ranch at Keystone and live in Paxton.

He is survived by his children, Wendell Pasley (Varie) and LaVon Pasley, all of Kentucky; granddaughter, Reesha Day (Tim); and other family.

Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie; parents, Bert and Mary; brother, Will; and sisters, Elsie Smith and Velma Hatton.
