M ary F inn of North Platte, NE, passed away at Bryan West in Lincoln on November 4, 2023, at age 80.

Mary, the daughter of Robert and Lois Nairn, was born in Alhambra, CA, on July 26, 1943.  She grew up and attended school in Garden City, KS, then did nurses training.  In 1961 Mary moved to take a job at the Ogallala Community Hospital.  She later worked at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, KS, as a dietary hospital cook for 22 years.

On April 21, 1963, Mary was united in marriage to Gary Finn at the First Baptist Church in Garden City, KS.

Mary enjoyed crocheting, sewing and solving puzzles and she attended Harvest Christian Fellowship in North Platte.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob, Jr. and her twin, Roger; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Sam Rapue and Arlene and Gordon Lackey; and sister-in-law, Morena Nairn.

Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gary; son, Todd Finn (Patsy) of Tonkawa, OK; daughters, Renee Foster (Fred) of Sutherland and Melissa "Missy" Foster (Tom) of North Platte; grandchildren, Jeanette Badgley (Bryan), Josh Foster (Sarah), T.J. Foster (Kaitlin) and Abby Foster (Geng); great-grandkids, Shanae, Blake, Josiah, Koltyn, Lakin, Kinsley and baby William who is to be born; her sister, Holly Tolliver (Wayne) of Flippin, AR; sister-in-law, Luetta Nairn of Lafayette, CO; her special friends, Pat in Ogallala and Marilyn in Elkhart, KS; her special dog, Cricket; as well as other family and friends.

Cremation was chosen.  Online condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com.  Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
