Mary Carreras

Mary Carreras was born on May 21, 1934, in Wichita, Kansas, to Luis and Nicolasa Ponce. She passed away on November 4, 2026, in Sutherland, Nebraska, at the age of 92.

Mary lived a life filled with memories and experiences that will be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered by her family and friends for the time they shared and the special place she held in their lives.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, John Carreras, and his wife, Sharen, of Longmont Colorado, and granddaughter and great grandchildren along with many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Nicolasa Ponce; her husband Carl Carreras; her son, Michael Carreras; and her daughter, Carol Carreras and grandson Carlos Carreras.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 12, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Odean Colonial Chapel, with a Rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Odean Colonial Chapel.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 13, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at North Platte Cemetery.

Mary will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
