Margaret Worley

M argaret W orley, age 81, of North Platte, passed away at home surrounded by her family on January 23, 2021.

Margaret was born April 26, 1939, in Anselmo, Nebraska, and raised by her mother and stepfather, Iona and Heasell Wheeler.

Margaret married Karol Stankey and to this union four children, Laural , Karol, Larry and Margie, were born. Margaret was a good mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt; she cared for everyone she came in contact with. She was also a very hard worker up until her health declined. Margaret will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Karol Stankey and Larry (Dawn) Stankey, and grandson, Larry Stankey, all of Sioux City, Iowa; brother, George Wheeler, of Holdrege; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Laural Haner and Margie Stankey; brothers, Wayne Wheeler, Don Koach; sisters, Mary Piel, Irene Henderskoll and Viola Stinson.
