On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, Mandy Sue Foster “Burk,” at the young age of 46, passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Mandy was born on October 20, 1979, in Burlington, KS. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her parents, daughters, and grandsons—her family truly meant the world to her. At a very young age, her eldest grandson, Hayden, began calling her “Momo,” and a beautiful legacy began. Everyone knew who Momo was. She was the best—faithfully attending Hayden’s sporting events, Caysen’s school activities, and sharing countless special moments of “Momo time” with little Tyson.
Mandy spoke with her parents, Cindy and Kevin Coleman, every single day. Weekly family dinners were must, and always included a game of dominoes. No matter how busy life became, they made sure those dinners happened.
Mandy enjoyed playing Keno with friends, reading books, taking relaxing bubble baths, and watching her nieces’ sporting events. You would never see Mandy without a big Dr. Pepper in tow.
Caring and compassionate, Mandy had a heart as big as her smile. She held various jobs throughout her life, but her favorite was caring for elderly patients in their homes. She met many wonderful people during that time and formed meaningful, lasting friendships with the families she cared for.
Mandy was preceded in death by many loved ones, most importantly her twin sister, Candy, who passed at birth. We know they welcomed her with open arms.
Mandy is survived by her parents Cindy and Kevin Coleman and Mike Burk; her two daughters Crashell (Aaron) Knodel and Rylee Foster; her three grandsons, Hayden, Caysen, and Tyson; her brother Michael “Justin” (Camille) Burk; step-brothers, Philip Hroemek and Kevin (Whitney) Coleman, Jr.; step-sister, Tina Harvey; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Most importantly, please remember Mandy for her contagious smile, her humor, her unforgettable belly laugh, and the love she had for each and every one of you.
