Kimberly Mccarter

K imberly H erman M c C arter, age 52, of North Platte, died June 10, 2021, in North Platte following an automobile accident.

Kimberly was born December 2, 1968, to Clyde Philbrick and Charlotte Lee in South Dakota. When she was young she moved to North Platte with her mom, brother and sister. Kim went to North Platte schools then moved to Ogallala for a while before returning to North Platte.

Kim had three children and was a hard worker. She enjoyed drawing, solving crossword puzzles and doing things outdoors. Kim will be remembered for her good sense of humor and being a fun, loving person.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Nelson Herman and Dean Kitto; sister, Bethy McCaslin; and her daughter, Kristen McCarter.

Kim is survived by her son, Brandon McCarter, of Colorado; daughter, Kelli Herman, of Minnesota; sisters, Julie (John) Raines, of Papillion and Claudette Philbrick, of North Platte; brother, Johnathan (Jennifer) Diener, of Florida; five grandkids; and other family.
