Kari Lee Jensen

Kari Lee Jensen was born on July 8, 1977, in North Platte, Nebraska, and passed away on November 1, 2026, in North Platte.

Kari graduated from North Platte High School in 1995 and attended classes at Mid-Plains Community College. Throughout her life, she worked various office administrative jobs around town.

Kari enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary since 2001. She was a lifelong Husker football and volleyball fan and always enjoyed playing games with family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, Kristi Smith of Omaha, Nebraska; nieces, Chloe Smith of Omaha, Nebraska, and Kate Smith of Walla Walla, Washington; along with many loving extended family members, caring neighbors, and longtime friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Margaret Jensen.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2026, at Odean Colonial Chapel.

Memorials may be given to the family for later designation.
