Justin Nichols, Sr.

J ustin N ichols, Sr. was born May 2, 1984, to Terry and Karen Nichols at Wharton, TX.  He grew up in Needville, TX, and graduated from Terry High School in Rosenberg.  On June 1, 2012, Justin married Brittney Duraso in Needville.

He worked as a farm hand until 2021 then worked at Washington Tractor for a year before moving to North Platte and joining Titan Machinery.  Justin died unexpectedly at the age of 40 on December 11, 2024, following an accident near Ogallala, NE.

Justin loved fishing, hunting, playing video games and being with his family.  His love of family was most important to him.

Justin leaves us all too soon.  He is survived by his wife, Brittney, their children, Justin, Jr., James, Joseph, John and Julia, and his mother, Karen, all of North Platte; his brother, Jacob (Jenny) of Sugarland, TX; nieces, Layla, Natalie, Summer and Ella; and other family.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Celebration of Justin's life is 11 a.m., Saturday, December 21, at Odean Colonial Chapel with Pastor Kem Reeder officiating.  Visitation is prior to the service then cremation will follow after the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are directed to the family.  Online condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com.  Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
