J udy Bricker, age 82, was surrounded by her family when she passed away at her home in North Platte on July 6, 2022.
Judy was born March 29, 1940, to Earl 'Chuck' and Lucy Flint in North Platte. She grew up in North Platte where she graduated from high school.
In 1959 she married Paul Bricker and they lived in Ogallala. The couple later divorced. While in Ogallala Judy was on a bowling league and worked at Sixth Street, Quick Stop, Sapp Brothers and TRW.
When she moved back to North Platte she went to work in the lunch room at St. Patrick's Catholic School then for the North Platte Public School Early Childhood Education with the Adopt a Grandparent program.
Judy was a crafty person and loved to do puzzles and bake cakes and pies. She especially loved the holidays and her dog, Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy and Earl Flint; sisters, Lynn Pettit and Louise Krzycki; brother, Earl and wife, Donna Flint; brothers-in-law, Albert Dowhower and Harold Parish; and her son, Jason Bricker.
Judy is survived by her children, Scott Bricker of Paxton, Natalie (Tom) Beck of Tekamah and Janny (Russell) Baldwin of Derby, KS; sisters, Jean Dowhower of North Platte and Earlene Parish of Lemoyne; brother, Frank (Mary) Flint of Ohio; brother-in-law, Adrian 'Kris' Krzycki of North Platte; her beloved dog, Daisy; and 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and other family.
Cremation was chosen. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. The guest book may be signed online at odeanchapel.com, at the graveside or at Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore, which is in charge of arrangements.
