Joyce Kenworthy

J oyce K enworthy, age 74, of Wauneta, died at Great Plains Health in North Platte on February 14, 2021.

Joyce was born to Loriene and Therman Plunk, Sr. on April 28, 1946, in Ashdown, Arkansas. She grew up and attended school in Arkansas then got married to Robert Brown in Michigan.

Joyce did migrant work in different states until retiring. Her home was in Decatur, Arkansas, until 2020 when she moved to Nebraska to be closer to family. Joyce loved being with her family and enjoyed crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Therman, Sr. and Loriene Plunk; brothers, Therman, Jr. and William Plunk; and her son, Richard Brown.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Ronald Brown and Robert Brown, Jr., of Wauneta; daughter, Barbara Black, of Washington; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and other family.
