Jerre Anne Jolliffe passed away on May 24, 2026, in North Platte, with her family by her side.

Jerre Anne Baldwin was born on September 4, 1940, in North Platte, to Lela Frances (Bassett) Baldwin and James Wesley Baldwin Sr. She graduated from North Platte High School with the Class of 1958. Jerre met Charles Thomas Jolliffe in 1955, and the couple was united in marriage at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on September 28, 1959. To this union, seven children were born: Cynthia Lea, Katherine Anne, Charles Thomas Jr., Ronald Howard, Anthony Lynn, Christopher James, and John Joseph.

In her younger years, Jerre was involved with the Camp Fire Girls, Mrs. J.C., and Catholic Daughters. She was also a member of the Eagles.

Jerre began working at Sixth Street Food Stores in 1958 and worked there for two years before stepping away to have kids. She later returned and dedicated more than 40 years of service before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her son, John; granddaughter, Stephanie; her mother and father, Lela and Charles Cummins; her biological father, James Baldwin Sr.; her brother, James Baldwin Jr.; Jim and Marilyn Jolliffe; and Dorothy Murphy.

Jerre is survived by her children, Cynthia (Tom) Smith, Katherine Jolliffe, Charles (Kelly) Jolliffe, Ronald (Kaylin) Jolliffe, Tony (Dawn) Jolliffe, and Christopher (Brenda) Jolliffe; grandchildren Tommy Smith, Christina Pellegrino, Sarah Smith, Joel Smith, Julie Alaniz, Jennifer Martinez, Chilly Armendariz, Ashley Hupfer, Cody Jolliffe, Charly Knolles, Jacob and Kimberly Jolliffe, Taylor Farr, Hunter Jolliffe, Chase, Curty, and TJ Barthel, and Natalie and Benjamin Jolliffe; as well as 31 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters, Crystal (Jerry) Hedke and Elizabeth (Dale) Davis; her brother, Kevin (Janet) Cummins, all of Colorado; and her sister-in-law, Meri (Tom) Kelsey.

Jerre was baptized in 1960 in the Catholic Church and confirmed in 1962.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Odean Colonial Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Odean Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at North Platte Cemetery. The family kindly requests casual attire for the service.

Memorials are suggested to the Goodfellows Shoe Fund.
