Jason Bricker

J ason B ricker, of North Platte, died at home on August 26, 2021, at the age of 51.

Jason was born November 9, 1969, to Paul and Judy Bricker at Ogallala where he grew up. He attended Ogallala High School and played on the basketball and baseball teams. After graduating in 1988, Jason went on to earn his B.S. Degree from Kearney State College. He worked as an insurance adjuster for Farm Bureau out of Paxton. Over the years, he had also lived and worked in Kearney and North Platte.

Jason married Shelly Bergmeier and they had three children, Jaron, Kailen and Ellie, and later divorced.

Jason attended the Lutheran Church in Paxton. He loved playing golf and was a Husker fan. Jason was very friendly and could talk to anyone. He could light up a room when he entered it. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Bricker.

Jason leaves behind his mother, Judy Bricker, of North Platte; his children, Jaron (fiancee, Chloe Ubben) and Ellie Bricker, of Omaha, and Kailen (Dustin) Hahn, of Lincoln; siblings, Scott Bricker, of Paxton, Natalie (Tom) Beck, of Tekamah and Janny (Russell) Baldwin, of Derby, KS; granddaughter, Harper Lee Hahn; and other family.

Cremation was chosen. Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. (MT) on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in the Paxton Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com. Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
