Janet Elliott

J anet E lliott was born July 29, 1948, the youngest and only daughter of Verda and Francis Elliott. She lived her whole life in North Platte and peacefully passed away under Hospice care on May 6, 2022, at the North Platte Care Center. She was 73 years old.

Janet attended North Platte Public Schools and the First United Methodist Church. She had worked with the Opportunity Center for many years.

Janet was a kind, caring person with a warm heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janet is survived by her family and friends including her brothers, James (Vivian) Elliott of Virginia and Richard (Lisa) Elliott of Florida; her cousins, Terry (Deb) Kruse and Tracey Kalkowski, and aunt, Marian Kalkowski, all of North Platte.

Graveside service and inurnment will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. The memorial book may be signed online at odeanchapel.com. Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
