G len L emon, 89, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed way with family close by his side on November 11, 2020, at Centennial Park Retirement Village.
Glen was born in Max, Nebraska, to Bert and Jessie Lemon on September 17, 1931, and grew up on the family farm, north of Max. He graduated from Max High School and continued to farm. In 1987 the Lemon family was honored with the Nebraska Pioneer Farm Award by Aksarben in recognition of the farm being in one family for 100 years. Along with farming, Glen had a lifetime love for gardening, trees, and reading to gain knowledge. He also enjoyed bowling on a team. Glen was a member of Max Methodist Church and a past member of Ash Grove Cemetery Board.
Glen was a well respected, hardworking individual who appreciated what he had. He loved his family and friends and would do anything to help others. Glen never had harsh words to say about anyone and he loved the company of his friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
