It is with profound sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Dianne Marie Ponce, age 66, who peacefully departed this world on October 28, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and comfort of her cherished family. She was born in North Platte, Nebraska, to Donald and Daisy Miller.

Dianne was the proud mother of her sons, Exie (Christina), Jonathan (Jeannette), and Lucas (Caiti) Brown, and stepmother to Seth (Sharon) and Scott Ponce. Her legacy lives on through her 12 grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.

Dianne will be remembered for the many lives she touched throughout her years and the kindness she shared along the way. For much of her life, she devoted herself to caring for others, offering comfort, support, and a helping hand to those who needed it. Being a caregiver was more than something she did; it was a part of who she was.

She had a special gift in the kitchen and found joy in cooking for others. Wherever life took her, she shared her love through the meals she prepared, bringing people together around the table and making sure there was always enough to go around. Her cooking, generosity, and willingness to serve others created memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Like everyone, Dianne's life was filled with both blessings and challenges. She faced her share of difficult seasons, but through it all, continued striving to find her way, to do good, and to be the best person she could be. Her faith was an important source of comfort and strength, and she often leaned on God for guidance, hope, and reassurance during life's most difficult moments. She held a deep love for her family and carried those connections with her throughout her life.

Dianne is survived by her father, Donald Miller; her siblings, Dixie Jochum and Donna (Lyle) Urbanec; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and two special nieces, Dawn Small and Brandy Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her dear mother, Daisy Miller; grandparents, Donald and Marie Hazelrigg and Everett and Gloria Miller; in-laws, Robert and Dorothy Ponce; brother-in-law, Paul Jochum; and beloved niece, Candy Sailor.

A private family and close friends Celebration of Life for Dianne will be held on November 25, 2026, at Cornerstone Church in North Platte, Nebraska..

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Dianne's generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others.

As a family, we hold close the comforting words of Christopher Robin: "You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart… I'll always be with you."

May Dianne now find the peace and comfort that life does not always make easy to find. May she rest in God's loving arms, free from life's struggles. She will be remembered for the many chapters of her journey, the people she cared for, the meals she shared, and the kindness she left behind. Her love and light will forever remain in the hearts of those whose paths she crossed.
