Dianna Emerson

August 13, 1956 — June 30, 2025

D ianna (Loving) Emerson was born August 13, 1956, in Gary, IN.  She peacefully passed away at Linden Estates in North Platte, NE, on June 30, 2025, at the age of 68.

Dianna, daughter of George and Ruth Loving, grew up in North Platte where she graduated from N.P.H.S. then got married.

On June 14, 1975, Dianna married Clifford Emerson at Cody Park.  They made their home in North Platte and welcomed a daughter, Heather.  Dianna worked in customer service at Sunmart, was a floral arranger for Blossoms Floral, then when the store became U-Save, she was the manager of Customer Service and eventually retired.  She was affectionately known to many as "Didi".

Dianna enjoyed crafting and making wreaths.  She loved her family and thought of her dog, Sully, as her baby boy.  She will be greatly missed!

Dianna was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff; her parents, George and Ruth Loving; brothers, Johnnie and George, Jr.; and sisters, Annie Loving and Bonnie Murphy.

Survivors include her daughter, Heather Yost (Matt) of North Platte and baby boy Sully; grandchildren, Tayler Wright (Will), Hayley and Emery Yost; her siblings, Mike Loving (Juley) of Deltona, FL, Nicci Green (Mike) of Kansas City, MO, and Harold Loving (Barbara), Robin Loving (Mary Beth), Hazel Perez (Daniel), and sister-in-law, Victoria Loving all of North Platte; and many other family members.
