This endeavor continued for 23 years until the business was sold in 2012. While in Aberdeen Delmar met Emily Marie Pedersen and they were united in marriage in 1959. They raised three children together and celebrated 52 years of marriage before Emily passed away in 2011. Delmar loved his family and was a very involved family man.
