Chris Wikle

C hristina "Chris" Wikle of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away at Great Plains Health on July 5, 2024, at age 75.

Chris, the daughter of Don and Velma Dancer, was born March 20, 1949, in North Platte where she grew up.  In 1964 the family moved to Omaha and Chris went on to graduate from Central High School.

She lived and worked in various states before moving to the Kansas City, Missouri area and going to work for Hallmark.  While working, Chris met Shawn Wikle and they married on June 22, 1985, in Independence, Missouri.  The couple lived in different places until coming to North Platte in 2020.

Chris was a loving wife, mother, grandma and animal lover.  She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Daniel Edwards; and daughter, Apryl Knobbe.

Chris is survived by her husband, Shawn; son, Christopher Knobbe (Jennifer) of Leander, TX; grandkids, Quinn and Ava Knobbe; her brother, Ken Dancer (Linda) of North Platte; and other family.
