Carol Carreras

C arol C arreras, the daughter of Margaret and Carl Carreras, was born July 13, 1960, at Sioux City, Iowa.   She died October 6, 2023, at Great Plains Health in North Platte at the age of 63.

Carol grew up in Hershey and North Platte and attended North Platte High School.  She later moved to California for a while then returned to North Platte.  Over the years Carol worked various jobs until her health declined.

She enjoyed watching Nebraska football and the Kansas City Chiefs.  Carol especially cared about her family and she loved cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Carl, and her brother, Michael Carreras.

Survivors include her daughter, MaryAnn Dixon; stepmother, Mary Carreras; her brother, John (Sharen) Carreras of Berthoud, CO; as well as four grandchildren and other family.
