Brenda Roberts

B renda R oberts unexpectedly passed away on February 17, 2024, at Great Plains Health at the age of 62.

Brenda, the daughter of David and Wilma Rosencrants, was born August 5, 1961, in North Platte where she has resided all her life.  Brenda graduated from N.P.H.S. then earned her cosmetology license.  She was a hairdresser for a while then worked at various places including the Moose Lodge, The Sands, Detco, Farmers Insurance, AAA, and Cabelas Call Center.

On July 13, 1991, Brenda married Loren Roberts.  She was a very patient woman who enjoyed reading, crocheting and watching stock car races.  Brenda especially loved her family and her grandkids were the loves of her life.

She leaves behind her husband, Loren, daughter, Lindsey Mercer, and brother, Jeffrey Rosencrants, all of North Platte; stepson, Colton Wohlers (Jess) of Holdrege; grandkids, Cyrus, Rhyland, Soren and Toriana, and step granddaughter, Brynlee; niece, Tosha; nephew, Jared; and other family.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Korbyn Mercer.

Celebration of Brenda's life will be 10 a.m. on Friday, March 1, at Odean Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jerry Lee officiating.  The memorial book may be signed online at odeanchapel.com or prior to services at Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore, which is in charge of arrangements.
