Bobby Keys, 55, of North Platte died at home on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
Bobby was born in Omaha to Edna Keys on January 29, 1964, and they later moved to North Platte where he grew up. Bobby attended North Platte Public Schools then went on to work in construction. He shared his life with his significant other, Misty Martin, for 10 years and liked his cars.
He is survived by his significant other, Misty Martin, of North Platte; sons, Anthony Plunk (fiancée, Misty Tatman) and Trenton Hough, of North Platte, Jorius Grabbing Bear, of Omaha and Brenton DeGunia, of Beatrice; daughters, Kisha Payne and Jasmine Palmer, of Lincoln, Charnique Hough, Cheralee Hasbrouck and Cierra Cheever, all of North Platte, and Heather Dawson, of Oklahoma; brothers, Preston (Kristy) Keys, of North Platte and Amiria (Nancy) Matlock, of Hershey; sisters, Toina Matlock, of Lincoln and Delia Matlock, of Gering; brother-in-law, Robert Deuerlein, of North Platte; as well as many grandchildren and other family.
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Keys, and sisters, Venus Keys and Tassie Deuerlein.
Cremation was chosen. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Salvation Army. The memorial book may be signed at odeanchapel.com or prior to the service at the church. Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
