Bob Gray, Jr.

O n July 31, 2022, Robert 'Bob' Gray, Jr. passed away at the age of 71 following recent health complications.

Bob was born in Sacramento, CA, on January 16, 1951, to Robert, Sr. and Ester Gray. He grew up in Las Vegas, NV, where he graduated from high school. Bob took some college classes in Utah then began his career as a truck driver and logged countless miles until retiring when he was 62.

Bob loved traveling, camping and being in the desert. He came to North Platte, NE, in 2014 and spent his remaining years with his significant other and lifelong friend, Cheryl MacDonald.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his companion, Cheryl MacDonald of North Platte, NE; children, Jordan, Benjamin and Emily Gray of Utah, Samantha Gray of Alaska and Jacklyn Ragland of Arizona; his brother, Dale (Carolyn) Gray of Utah; cousin, Virgil (Cindy) Orso of Nebraska; and other family.
