Ann Francies Lamberty, 83, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away on September 26, 2026, at Linden Court in North Platte.
Ann was born on April 9, 1943, in York, Nebraska, to Frederick and Lucille (Francies) Steinheider. She graduated from Seward High School in 1960 and later graduated from Clarkson Nurses Training in 1963.
Ann married Lee Lamberty on September 5, 1964, in Seward, Nebraska. They were married until 1991.
Ann dedicated her career to nursing. She worked as an RN at University Hospital in Omaha and later at ENT Specialties in Lincoln. She was also a member of P.E.O.
Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Dave) Roth of Ashland, Nebraska, and Becky (Keith) Kempke of North Platte; son, Garrod Lamberty of North Platte, who is engaged to Brandi Fisher-Lemon; daughter-in-law, Pam Lamberty; sister, Jean Herbek; and brother, John (Brenda) Steinheider.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, with another great-grandchild expected soon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Lucille Steinheider; her son, Ryan Lamberty; and brother-in-law, Gene Herbek.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Odean Colonial Chapel in North Platte, with the family present from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026, at First Lutheran Church in North Platte with Pastor Patrick Sipes officiating. Burial will follow at North Platte Cemetery.
Odean Colonial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
