So saddened by Steve's passing. We all had so many years together growing up with so many memories. Loved Wayne(Wuz)& June...the great meals, traveling to all of the games and being able to just pop-in to the Sanders house!
Steve is now where he wanted to be...thank you to his daughters, Jim & Mike for giving us a few more years together!
Sending all my love, thoughts and prayers to North Platte this week.

Steve was a grade behind me in school, but I always remember him, smiling and friendly to everyone. So saddened by his death. Much sympathy to his family.
Our prayer and thoughts are with all of you this week. Especially with Shela and Stacia.
Steve and I had many happy times together as kids and teens and then when we both lived in Denver. I will miss him.

I have known Steve most of my life, we met in elementary
school. We all had great times. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Very sad.....
I have great memories of Steve and his incredible laugh, and what a positive attitude!!! I was the pitcher, he was the catcher in American Legion baseball, and Steve could always meet me midway with some comical conversations to keep us both "loose"..:) What a guy....my thoughts and prayers to his family.....
I met Steve while taking a part-time night job with First National. He was a blast to work with and told many funny stories about his youth and North Platte in general. He was always willing to share anything he owned. He definitely loved his family especially his grandchildren. When they would come to visit, that is all he could talk about. I had to look at all of the many photographs he would take. I will miss you Steve.
