Our purpose is to serve the needs of our friends and neighbors who have lost someone they love by giving them the information they need to make good choices and keep services affordable.  We strive to be compassionate in our service treating each individual with dignity and respect.  We use the Golden Rule.


We serve families of all faiths, walks of life and income levels. We are able to offer a wide range of services to meet your family’s needs and we will listen to you and your wishes to help plan a celebration service consistent with your expectations.


We not only serve North Platte, but the communities of Hershey, Sutherland, Paxton, Tryon, Stapleton, Maxwell, Brady, Wellfleet, Maywood, Dickens and Wallace.


We are conveniently located 13 miles from Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell and offer out of town funeral homes the opportunity for visitation and viewing before their burial at Fort McPherson National Cemetery.


Odean Colonial Chapel At C & Sycamore is the only funeral home in North Platte that is a sole proprietorship and independently operated.  This allows families a fair independent choice associated with funeral costs.
